JSKA 7 th DAN HOLDER

ABOUT SENSEIKG BALACHANDRAN

K.G Balachandran began his journey on the path of the righteous, beginning his karate training back in 1980. Two years later he became a disciple of Sensei Suvrathan who ran a dojo in Mullasserry, Thrissur named Veda Martial Arts Academy. After nearly a decade of training, he opened his own dojo in Oman on May 2nd, 1992 and began teaching his craft. In April of 2007, he was able to actively participate in the Master's Camp hosted by JKA Middle East, Africa & Asia held in Egypt.

Around the same time, he also became a JSKA Dan holder, recieving his 5th Dan Black belt from Sensei Abe Keigo himself. In October of 2014, he visited the JSKA Headquarters located in Matsuyama, Japan and participated in the championship held as a part of Sensei Mitsuru Nagaki's dojo's 40th anniversary. He visited Japan a second time in July of 2017, attaining his 7th Dan Black belt in the presence of Sensei Abe Keigo and Sensei Mitsuru Nagaki. He was also a medal winner in the JSKA Asia senior championship held in Iran on July 29, 2022. He currently devotes all of his time to teaching karate.
